Key-account (customer) plan: one chain, one year, one agreement
A 30-slide key-account plan for a pharmacy chain — where we stand, the plan, calendar and money, the agreement — with the calendar workbook and the negotiation ladder in the notes.

What you will have written when you finish
- 1Where we stand with the chain: share of the account, doors, velocity, the price ladder on shelf
- 2The share objective derived arithmetically from category growth and our plan
- 3The activity calendar priced from the rate card, month by month
- 4Investment by pillar and by quarter, against the sell-out it has to buy
- 5The account P&L: gross to net, activity cost, contribution
- 6The KPIs and the review cadence the chain agrees to
- 7The agreement page, with the negotiation ladder in the notes of the asks slide
7 slides from the example
2 sheets from the workbook
Chain negotiations are lost on the account P&L the chain has and the supplier does not. This plan builds it: rate card → activities → calendar → investment by pillar and quarter → account P&L last year, plan and plan at −10 % → KPIs by month.

Every item includes
Three working sessions on your own document: inputs and numbers, the draft, and a review against the questions management will ask.
Every example is set in one fictional world: Meridian Consumer Health, its distributor Northern Gulf Distribution Co., the scalp-care brand Clarisel and its competitors Scalvia, Sebravel, Scalpex and Trichoderm. Nahdi, Al-Dawaa and United are real Saudi pharmacy chains used as market fixtures with invented figures, as are the marketplaces, the quick-commerce apps and the discounter named in item 08. You see every box filled, every chart populated and every number reconciled, without a real company's data.
